freaks and geeks.

"Freaks and Geeks" is a comedy/drama sitcom that aired on NBC in late 1999, and produced by Judd Apatow (40 Year Old Virgin, Superbad, Pineapple Express). It starred James Franco (Spiderman, Pineapple Express), Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, How I Met Your Mother) Seth Rogan, and some other people that didn't really make it so far. This is the show that made these actors who they are today. The show had alot of controversy, and because of an inconveniant timeslot, the show only aired 12 episodes before it was cancelled. 18 episodes in total were made.

Today, "Freaks and Geeks" is acclaimed as a cult classic. If you are in anyway a fan of Judd Apatow and any of his modern work, I highly reccomend watching some of this show. I always find that going back to one's roots helps build a new understanding and respect for them. Sadly, to buy the Freaks and Geeks box set from Best Buy would cost me $120, which I cannot afford. So I've been forced to watch it on... yes... youtube. How pitiful! I've only seen a few of the 45-minute episodes, but I must say, this show grows on you. It attatches at the hip like... like... one of those weird sucker fish on the side of a fish tank. Why do people get those? They're so ugly.

Anyway, I should stop rambling about random crap. Go watch the show!
